A new poll on the punctuality of airports

Refund.me site that helps travelers in their claim after a delay or cancellation in transport, has published two rankings: the top 10 airports with more delays and the top 10 airports with more cancellations. Both rankings are based on complaints received by the site over a period of nine months on 50 countries and 122 airlines. According to the data of this study, Frankfurt Airport is the most subject to delays and cancellations. Unlike what you might think, the French airports are not in the top delays, however you will not be surprised to see that the airport Charles de Gaulle is in the top third of cancellations, probably due to strikes generating the flight cancellations.

Refund.me recalls that in case of cancellation or delay, you can claim compensation from the airline you borrow although this is due to a strike. In 2012, travelers have claimed more than 400 million euros for delays or cancellations.
