Algeria postponed to 2014 his first airshow Algeria International Air Show

According to the organizers, to the show ALIAS (Algeria International Air Show) is subjected to an environment that does not allow, under current conditions, to maintain the date of 8 to 10 October 2013 without running the risk of not achieving the objectives desired.

The initiators of the exhibition prefered to have the option of postponing the event at a later date in 2014.

The exact date will be set in the last quarter of 2013 it added the organizers.

The organizers hoped through this first edition of the Algerien air show "promote the emergence and development of a platform for aerospace subcontracting, maintenance and training of high technological level in Algeria."

It should be noted that with this report, the Maghreb experience both aeronautical events in 2014 as the fourth edition of Marrakech Airshow will be held from April 23 to 26, 2014 in Marrakech, Morocco.

Libya also has its Airshow LAVEX, the third and last edition was held in 2009. LAVEX 2009 saw the crash of a MiG-23 of the Libyan air force killing the two pilots.
