Distress call from the plane of Angela Merkel

Cologne (Germany) - A man described as 'mentally ill' is enclosed in a government aircraft on Cologne (Germany) International Airport and managed to send a distress signal by radio, 'mayday, mayday' before being arrested by police.

The man, whose identity was not revealed, aged 24, a German national, was able to enter the secure area of Cologne / Bonn, where are stationed several government aircraft used between other international airport by German Chancellor Angela Merkel during his travels and went into the cockpit of an Airbus A319 before it shut, locking the door.
