Paris Air Show Salon du Bourget : records and orders for
The 50th Paris Air Show, which opens its doors this morning has already set a record attendance, with 2,215 exhibitors from 44 countries, and should be the theater ads orders for hundreds of aircraft.
From 17 to 23 June 2013, the High Mass biennial Le Bourget hosts ten percent more exhibitors than in 2011, with 130 aircraft and 300 official delegations for a vintage that looks very good. Especially for Airbus course, traditionally reserves its ads for the show, but also for Boeing expects a raw "suitable". If the record orders of 2007 (425 farms and 303 options) should not be beaten, the 2013 edition of the show will probably be dominated by sales of long-haul aircraft, after two years spent in the aisle (A320neo in 2011 and 737 MAX last year at Farnborough) with the A350 course, which made its maiden flight Friday, but the 787-10 Dreamliner program could be officially launched.
Airbus: Air France - KLM could formalize its order for 25 more A350 as an option, after long delays due to negotiations with the Rolls Royce engine maintenance and Lufthansa hers percent aisle and two A380. The leasing company British Doric take at least ten A380 according to Business Week (it financed purchases for Singapore Airlines and Emirates Airlines - the latter has still not confirmed the purchase of a further 30 superjumbos). Rumors commands also affect long-haul Turkish Airlines, Qatar Airways, South African Airways and Japan Airlines (which would make a hitch to his policy all-Boeing), SriLankan Airlines and Kuwait Airways. Side aisle, there are doubts over an ad for the exhibition of low cost easyJet, which would take a hundred A320neo, but Air China, Shenzhen Airlines and low-cost AirAsia and VivaAerobus are expected.
Boeing further announcement expected on 787-10 (Qatar Airways or Singapore Airlines?), Plus possibly the appointment of Emirates Airlines as a company to launch the 777X, the American manufacturer should be more discreet as usual. However, we expect announcements Jet Airways and China for 737 (classic or MAX)
But the two giants will not be alone at Le Bourget: the Canadian Bombardier CSeries which should make its first flight before the end of the month, the ads promised, as the Russian Sukhoi Superjet SSJ100 which has been delivered to its first customer Western, the low cost Mexican Interjet during the show. The Brazilian Embraer, the third largest producer in the world, must now announce the launch of the new E-jet and re-engined with new wings, with entry into service in 2018, but also a version of the E195 can carry 130 passengers (such as the Canadian CS300). Chinese COMAC should in turn the main book ads on the C919 for the Salon of Zhuhai in November.
